Creative Memories Christmas Card 7 - 2009 Card Kit Limited Edition

Card 7 has the 3 Wise men and the sticker that says "O Little Town of Bethlehem". This card is made from the Creative Memories Nativity Addition kit.

• Cut and adhere 4” x 5.25” blue mat.
• Cut and adhere 1.5” x 4.25” purple paper strip.
• Cut and adhere 1” x 3.5” gold paper strip.
• Add stickers and title.

Creative Memories Christmas Card 6 - 2009 Card Kit Limited Edition

This Card has an angel and the sticker says "O Holy Night". The materials used are from the Creative Memories Nativity Addition kit.

The kit directions say:

• Cut and adhere 3” x 5.25” blue mat to card.
• Cut and adhere 1” x 5.25” gold strip below it.
• Cut and adhere 1.25” x 2” gold rectangle.
• Add title and stickers.
• Doodle around gold rectangle with pen.

Link to Card Kit isn't working today

Hi, the Creative Memories Consultant shopping sites are having trouble. I am sure they are working on it. But because of that, no one can shop through a consultant's web site today.

So sorry! If you follow the link that says "Shop online here" it does take you to my main CM shop. I don't think any other other links will work though.

Creative Memories Christmas Card 5 - 2009 Card Kit Limited Edition

Here is Card 5 of 18 from the new Creative Memories Christms Card Kit 2009.

The kit directions say:

• Cut and adhere 4” x 5.25” red mat.
I recommend you use the red paper with the ivory and green lines.
Why?
The green lines match the green mat and looks great.
This will make it easy for you to use the Red Swirl paper on cards 1 & 14.
There are 3 cards with full Red Swirl mats, and only 2 mats in your kit.

• Tear edges of mat with fingers.

It looks like they distressed the edges tearing dry paper.
I learned to do wet distressing when I did the Creative Memories Project Center Thanksgiving Card with the Autumn Wreath. (See Autumn Greetings Card Video.)

Anyway, wet distressing does give a very nice look that I like better.

• Cut and adhere two 1/2-inch wide strips of blue paper.
Use the Blue Ornament Paper Paper. Full directions would be 1/2" wide x 5-1/4" long.
I like the pattern to match up with the 2 strips but that is very optional.
I used the Blue Ornament Photo mat paper, cut it in 1/2" wide strips. Then glued it to the card and trimmed the ends.

• Cut and adhere 1.5” x 3.25” green mat using Foam Squares.

Sometimes it is easier to doodle the edge before adhering the sticker.

• Add title

The sticker for this card says "Frosty Days and ice-still nights,
Fir tree trimmed with tiny lights,... That was Christmas long ago."
